Camel invites designers, creators, and artists to reveal the wild energy that thrives beneath Hong Kong’s iconic skyline. Beyond the glass towers and neon glow lies a landscape shaped by instinct and resilience — from the black kite soaring above Victoria Harbour to the elusive leopard cat moving through shadowed hills.

“Born to Roam: Hong Kong’s Hidden Wilderness” challenges participants to express Camel’s adventurous spirit through the lens of Hong Kong’s native landscapes and indigenous wildlife. Celebrate the city’s striking contrasts — urban yet untamed, bold yet graceful, contemporary yet deeply rooted in enduring natural beauty.

This year, we are proud to collaborate with Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Gardens for the competition. Their expert panel will join us in selecting the winning designs.

Your challenge:

Create a design that captures Hong Kong’s wild soul — a reminder that no matter where we are, the instinct to roam, explore, and stay curious endures. You can take inspiration from Hong Kong’s distinct landscape, wildlife, flora and fauna to create your own unique design. 

Winning designs will inspire Camel’s next collection, blending outdoor energy with urban sophistication.

Theme: Born to Roam: Hong Kong’s Hidden Wilderness

Open To: Designers, artists, and creative minds across Hong Kong.

Judging Criteria: Originality, relevance to theme, connection to Camel’s adventurous ethos, and commercial appeal.

Prize:
1st Place: $10,000 HKD + Wacom Cintiq 16 Pen Display

2nd Place: $5,000 HKD

3rd Place: $3,000 HKD

Winning designs to be featured on limited-edition Camel products and marketing campaigns.
